idk this is just my idea and it probably makes no sense cuz i just woke up and im tired but this idea has been in my head for a while and i wanted to know what people think. this way they could just remove event-a and event-b entirely

Then they will have to pay a bunch more money because lots of people want to earn 1000 dollars. Then there will just be a big queue there and takes lots of players slots and they added event queues because sometimes other yters host events such as zelk

there wouldn’t be a queue. it would just be play whatever stuff is on the server and u might be randomly selected to play in an event. and they could give other people perms to host events. idk what u mean about money

What about the 1k queue? Theyll have to play on the server to get a chance. Thus making them spend more money

They will need to get a new server because if its on the same server it wont do much. Also a bad side is the queues for kitpvp skyblock and survival will be huge then.

it would be a seperate server for only people who wanna play in skeppy events, so they wouldn’t be mad since they are getting what they wanted, and they could always not play in the event and continue doing what they are doing. they don’t have to play in the event cuz they have a thing to click to join the event. and the stuff from kit doesn’t transfer over, and the events don’t give any reward, so even if they teleport out of the event, it doesn’t really matter

the new server wouldn’t cost more than it would cost for them to upgrade the current servers to stop the lag from 1000 people in queue. And they wouldn’t be huge, since if u used to queue in event-a u prob wouldn’t play one of those servers, you would go to the server where you could play in a skeppy event, since that was what u originally wanted. skeppy wouldn’t do his events on kit, so people wouldn’t wanna join kit

There is no lag rn by the server. Its players internet. You are just making it another step to get in a skeppy event tbh

if they can afford 2 new hubs just remove those hubs cuz they were added to hold the 800+ people queueing for event-a and use that money for the new server

I suggested this already to the IL Player Council, it was discussed and then denied. Separating the server would bring a bunch of disadvantages:
  1. Paying for hosting. If they separate the servers, they need to add a queue or something. They also need to purchase another server, unlinking the current event servers wouldn't be convenient.
  2. Configuring and setting up the server. There is currently just one developer, and he's already overloaded. Adding more work would be detrimental.
  3. Skeppy would lose players on IL: currently the server boasts over 2000 players, without them the server would probably barely reach 1000 at peak times. This means less profit from ranks, donations, etc.
For anyone saying "Just hire a new developer" or "InvadedLands has money, why don't they spend it?" They apparently want to have highest profits at all times, so they cut some corners.

They didnt need to upgrade the servet i think. The hubs dont hold lots of stress. They only added it because of the event queues becoming popular again.
