It's not necessarily a bad idea. It gets people out of the hub just waiting in the queues on Invadedlands. However, there's a few problems I have with it.
It's not even the fact it might actually become better than Invaded, but how it is set up.
The pass ranks.
The pass ranks to me are just... not good. You can't just join the server and play in those events. It's impossible to join them if you have no rank. The bronze rank also doesnt help you any, so you're just wasting 10 dollars. This seems really biased against poor people, who could benefit the most from skeppy's 1000 dollar events. It's not even like its a 1 time purchase either, its just an overpriced subscription. I also don't think its fair for the skeppy fans to have to buy these ranks 4 different times to play, when its already temporary and already really high priced. These ranks should transfer over each server at the least. This is just a cash cow at this point. This and splash mc. It's just a way for skeppy to make money and it's BS. I dont think it should be 30+ to join some events that happen on occasion and it being a temporary thing as well. Subscriptions like that should be much less expensive. Some people played these events because they really needed money, and now they have to pay to lose. I kinda get why it seems nice to have passes, but it's not really fair for people, in my opinion. Do you agree?

This isn't invaded related, but i'm going to give my opinion from everything that I've been told/heard.

Skep's been doing these events for more than a month now, and he's probably given away around 30k+ from these alone without anyone even paying a dollar to play. We all knew that at some time it had to stop; it's just diminishing returns at this point. The man can't give away $1,000 at will, he needed some donations so that he could increase the prize pools and give himself even a little profit so he could put that money back into his servers, videos, etc. Regardless of what you guys think, it's a business, and he needs to make money to keep the business going. He even responded to the community feedback and asked you guys for your opinion, then he suggested that he would host some events on Invaded without a pass, completely free, for buycraft store credit. Overall, money doesn't grow on trees, he hosted 30+ events for free, but now people are gonna need to pay a little to have a chance to win a lot. He doesn't have to host these, but regardless, he chooses to for the content and for the community.

If you look at his YT stats tho it shows when he made 100k and rising lol he’s making bank almost 3x the amount he has given what he is doing g is smart. Manipulating fanboys.

You have to remember he pays for more then just events...

Yes Ik but 100k is more than enough and that was just this month lol
He's not going to be making that much every month, especially if it's not even accurate, which is very possible. He's doing really well right now because of events and can almost guarantee he doesn't make that much normally

Yes, although he did spend a lot of money on this you also have to remember Skeppy was or is living in LA right now which isn't a very cheap place to say the least. Also in social blade the lowest estimate of his monthly income is around 30k so he probably makes around 100k each month which is literally more a month than what most people in the U.S get a year, and that's using conservative estimates. Now combine this with InvadedLands and his merch store. Skeppy is very likely getting millions per year. And the argument that he is doing this because he's nice is also kind of wrong, because ever since he started doing these events he started getting more views and more views is more money. So I'm pretty sure money isn't a problem at all for him when he earns millions per year, lives in LA, and I'm pretty sure he even has a Lamborghini.

Yes it’s very accurate cause you can estimate on his views per month then it gives you a accurate answer on how much he makes.

I like your thought on this lol

Skeppy doesn't live in LA anymore, pretty sure he moved somewhere in Florida. Even though, he still has a lot of things to pay for, most that we don't even know about.

Florida is cheaper than LA and I would know cause I live in la

I guess that's true but my point still stands. Actually that also kind of proves my point Skeppy literally moves places like every 6 months and you need a decent amount of money to be able to do that.
