Welcome to IL News 2.0! I am your host, Naviwinn!
For today's first story: The PS5 vs Xbox Series X battle has finally concluded, the winner? Xbox Series X. The amazing person called Naviwinn, (aka Narwin) known for making #TeamNarwin, (Apps are rumored to be opening up soon) has made a big essay on how the specs for the Xbox are a lot stronger then the PS5. The amount of POWER the Xbox Series X can manage is unbeliavable, were talking 2080 TI TERRITORY, RUMORED TO ONLY SELL FOR 500$!!!!!!!. This is the essay he wrote;

Ok first, lets start with compatability.
With Xbox, you have backwards compatability all the way back to a lot of original Xbox games.
With PS5, we do have some backwards compatability but pretty much only expands to PS4 games, and only some of them. Even though they are aiming to have most of them avaible at launch, but it will not be as smooth compared to the Xbox front.
Xbox 1-0
CPU:
With PS5, it has a 8 core Zen 2 Ryzen based processor. With 8 Zen 2 cores and hyper-threading, this is pretty close to what we have in the Xbox as well. On the PC front, it's roughly a 3700k, even though it is running at lower clock speeds, which are "up to" 3.5 Ghz. The PS5 is at 3.5 Ghz with 8 cores and 16 threads, even though they are variable clock speeds, which means it can go up to 3.5 Ghz, but can go lower. With the Xbox Series X, with everything on, we have 8 Zen 2 CPU cores at 3.6 Ghz. Though if you want to turn off your multi threading (SMT), it will reach 3.8 Ghz. This means without a doubt, that this is a win for Xbox.
Xbox 2-0
Graphics:
With PS5 is where it diffrences from Xbox. It has AMD RDNA 2.0 graphics with 36 CUs and run at 2.23 Ghz and up to 10.28 teraflops. Even though it does have the same RDNA 2.0 core, (which means you still have ray tracing) it is configured very different. While the PS5 does have higher clock speeds, the gpu is bigger on the Xbox. The Some advantages for the smaller gpu, is that it is easier to cool, and more importantly, cheaper to make. While saving the money, this means that the GPU will not be as powerful as the Xbox series X. The Xbox Series X has 52 CUs and runs at 1825 MHz and 12 Teraflops. (Which leads me to believe that the Xbox X will be priced higher due to more preformance then the PS5) The reason they can hit those clock speeds though, are that they are variable clock speeds, or boost speeds. Which is another disadvantage for the PS5. If you look at the Xbox, the CPU and GPU run at a fixed clock speed all the time, while with the PS5, it will go up to 3.5 Ghz on the CPU. On the GPU, it will go up to 2.23 Ghz. The downside though, is that is not a fixed level of performance. To me, what I'm looking up to here is a PS5 which on the main system the CPU and the GPU are not as powerful as the Xbox Series X, and could even be lower if it does start to throttle.
Xbox 3-0
Memory:
They both have 16 gigabytes of GDDR6 ram. The Xbox has a wider memory buss, and because of that 10/16 GBs of ram run at 560 Gbs per second which is slightley faster then what you get on the PS5 as it runs at 448 Gbs per second.
Xbox 4-0
Storage:
This is where PS5 has it's first serious advantage. This generation of SSD's are going to be significantly faster then last generation, but how Sony approaches it is... different. The PS5 has a raw 825 gb SSD, which is a kinda strange number. (Keep in mind that that is not usable space) They built the SSD actually into the PS5, and have done everything they can to make it be as quick as possible. As it runs at 5.5 Gb/s raw, and 8-9 gigabytes compressed. Which can make, for example minecraft worlds bigger, more detailed textures, and just faster load speeds. The Xbox Series X has a slower SSD which is at 2.4 Gb/s raw, and 4.8 Gb/s compressed, but is still a SSD. Even with that, load times have been cut down from 30 seconds to 10. There is also, expandable storage. The way that Sony has approached it is that their is a built in NVMe slot in the PS5, which sounds great, but the PS5 has really high performance levels, which means you will have to get a really fast SSD, that can hold up to PS5s level of performance, but the problem is most SSD's now have a big heatsink which most likely will not fit in the PS5. There very well might not be any SSD's that you just plug and play on sale by the end of the year. While in Xbox, there are expansion slots to use, which you will have to buy certain expansion cards and plug them in for a plug and play experience, and will presumably be on sale on day one.

Xbox wins 4-1. I'm guessing that the PS5 will be about 20% slower.
this took 30m to make.
From that, you can deduce that the Xbox Series X is stronger then the PS5. This ends the arguement!!!!
Along with the huge quit wave, a lot of og's and alpha (IL's biggest clan) have left the server. Why? people have been blaming it on the staff, which never listen to the community.
In other IL news, PW foxify (Owned by @Foxify) has been under fire from multiple people angry from the lack of stuff, saying that "it's bad", unbleviably, people have started CLASS-ACTION lawsuits. Will PW-Foxify get shut down? Who knows? Wait for an update on the next post of InvadedLands News!!!!
Staff news:
Has anyone realized that @della has been a trainee longer then anyone before? Something going on? We think so.
Here we have @Veeti telling people that their kd sucks! This is outrages!I say fire him
And @Veeti__ saying, "why do you guys care about how long you have played for" and, "just play the block game"
This happened when people were calling each other newgens.
Thank you for coming to IL news 2.0. We will see you next week!
