ah, I had this exact same problem when I first got mine. If you search behind the head, somewhere there is a small button that turns on the vacuum mode. Hope this helped!

sloppy toppy is an optional mode, there's a toggleable option somewhere in the settings, accessible by tapping the right ear 5 times quickly
