Finally someone shows me their working.
 
If (1+2) was in numerator it would be 6(1+2)/2, but since it's 6/2(1+2) (1+2 clearly in the denominator) it'll 6/2(3) = 6/6 = 1
 
What would be your answer and why? Twitter goes crazy on this 5th grade question, so let me know your thoughts. I will also explain mine later.
According to the BODMAS rule, brackets go first. so... 6/2(2+1) = 6/2(3), then division, 6/2 = 3, so it's 3(3). next multiplication, 3x3, therefore the answer is 9. hehe, i scored 98% for math. :))
