But my launcher says the lastest is 1.16

Thank you for telling me...looks like I came late. I wasn't able to get PC Minecraft til yesterday so there was no way I could've made it

The latest version being 1.16

I'm really new to the servers and for some reason, it won't let me enter KitPVP. It says I have to wait until 1.7-1.8...what does this mean? Does this mean the update to the server, the game, or is it a date? (please don't be mean, like I said, I'm new to the servers)
