Hyper probably later decided to rejoin, I assume because the people he had problems with were gone, e_ic was demoted for not having reported all this discussion and/or something he knew, high staff messaged ex staff asking if they wanted to go back as staff one position lower than what they were (if they were sr mod they'd get mod, if they were mod they'd get trainee, etc).
