First off the writing in this esp seemed like it was written by a twelve year old, the speech at the end I actually felt bad for Anthony Mackie he had to read that out, you also saw from a mile away that the power broker was Sharon, it was so clear from the start, this easily could have been a two hour movie. The script still tries to justify Karlis actions at the end of the show which is just ridiculous- Conti
Overall Falcon And The Winter Soldier feels rushed and like many marvel shows these days it’s generic and overstuffed with nonsense sul messages that they try and stuff down your throat. One of the things I enjoyed was the performances. Whyatt Russell’s character is clearly the best written, he’s a lost broken character that in the end is redeemed by his nobel efforts, conti-
Erin Kellyman's character just feels like a plank of wood at times, her goals aren’t really laid out and I can tell a lot of her character was cut down in the editing room too, a lot was probably.
There’s still so much I can say though I'd ram it down a bit. There’s also a lot of plot holes in the show and unanswered questions it’s just a disaster really.
yes I totally agree, there were tons of parts in this show that were literally so stretched out. Like last episode they spent a good 5-10 min just working on a ****ing boat that no1 cares about,
Other than that I loved the fight scenes and falcons new suit, overall the show wasn’t nearly as good as wandavision, so I hope that the next show that comes out they really learn from this
Again, i feel battlestar was only there for plot convenience, the darn boat got more of a character arc than him. One scene that annoyed me was the Yuri scene was just botched, sharons whole arc is just nonsense, they wanted to make you feel bad for karli and it was just not happening, she's a terrorist and the sad music kicks in and the dumb script gets sam to deliver a speech and tries to justify their actions.
Of course there's positives in this show of course, the build up to John Walkers despair is good, Whyatt clearly knows what he's doing with the character and it shows, sorry for being so blunt I'm just being brutally honest
exactly, and I found it so cheesy when falcon flew down in front of the crowd with her dead corpse(I assume) and yeah I really wanted to see more from Lamar but they just wasted such a good character with a lot of potential, yeah I get he had to die so it could trigger John, but still man all I know from him without doing any research is that he had a sister and family. (Apart from the obvious stuff)
