Big dinosaur, On one hand you have the humans, dull lifeless one dimensional characters that don’t develop or even grow in that matter,a well thought out screenplay would develop these characters in smaller productions granting us with a drama, compelling characters that you care for, godzilla offers none of this.

Not even a second did I become connected to any of them, I didn't care for their victories nor care for the wellbeing of any of them, the script doesn’t seem to care either. I guess we don’t watch a godzilla movie for the characters, we watch it for the destruction and insanity that these monsters inflict on cities.

There’s no real payoff in the final act, both parties just get up as soon as they are knocked down, the fight went on for so long I hardly remembered what caused them, evil generic russian man makes robot godzilla, kong godzilla fight and kill robot, they both become friends the end. If I glossed over that, that's basically what the movie does as well.
