But if they wiped them out who would they blame for stealing oil ??

pretty sure biden pulled out the troops from afganistan, so nothing was really stopping taliban from seizing afganistan.

The same thing would've happened to Germany if the allies left immediately. You have to wipe them out entirely or else there is no point in invading.

I'm disappointed in Joe biden. He makes me like Obama more, even though I hate him. At least he didn't leave Afghanistan like biden did. America should have stayed there for 40 years, only then it would be save to leave. I'm surprised Kamala Harris didn't do anything to stop Biden.

Why should the U.S stay there? We've already spent trillions of dollars there and we would've spent more. It's not our fight and frankly it's likely that this war was pushed by oil interests rather than to "destroy the terrorists".

The US didn't HAVE to stay there, but they left so incompetently. Leaving a lot of stuff behind which the taliban used. Biden said that they were there to end terrorism, but this is just going to cause more terrorism. Afghanistan will turn into North Korea 2.0, isolated and its inhabitants will be fed propaganda. They will probably try to make start even more terrorist attacks endangering Americans.

I agree, however the U.S should've never even entered the war. So in a way I do agree with Biden leaving. Better late than never. Also you said they'll endanger Americans with "terrorism" but haven't we also terrorized them for decades? (1/2)

At the end of the day I think this war was pushed by oil interests rather than fighting terrorism meaning the U.S never had the goal to completely destroy the Taliban as they were the excuse to be in the middle east which of course destabilized the region more than before. (2/2)

All we did was make the Afghan people hate the U.S and west even more than before something that I don't doubt another power will try to exploit. However if that were to happen we would be partially at fault as we destabilized the region in pursuit of oil. (3/2)

The US let the same thing happen like the Vietnam war. Rather than wiping out the communists from North Vietnam, they barely did anything and left and betrayed South Vietnam. The exact same thing happend with the Taliban. The US didn't wipe out the Taliban, they left incompetently and betrayed the Afghan people. The Taliban took over Afghanistan. (1/3)

I think the US should go back and wipe out the taliban. It's like having cancer, a small tumor can cause unimaginable amount of problems. If we don't wipe them out now, we will regret it later. Better safe than sorry. I know the US has done harm in Afghanistan, but we should make Afghanistan like South Korea, a prospering nation rebuilt from wars. That way the Afghans will like the US and see it as an ally. (2/3)

I know it will cost taxpayers a lot, but not wiping out the taliban may even cost more money. The earlier we react, the easier it will be. We can't let the Taliban grow, they may even attack allied countries like India or help other fascist regimes like China. Taliban is already allied with China. (3/3)
