piplup's only advantage is that its cute. + turtwig is the better sinnoh starter because better types for first 2 gyms. froakie is not only the strongest kalos starter, but also the strongest starter, period, at least for water types.

Piplup has barely any weaknesses and can learn water ice and flying moves AND its cute piplup is supreme and you cannot prove otherwise goodbye

greninja can learn these move types, and an example of each:

battle bond makes greninja FAR stronger, in the game it increases Water Shuriken's base power by 5, making it a consistent 60-base power (always hits 3 times when Ash-Greninja form), as well as boosts stats and looks really cool
