Rules

Note: Not every punishable offense can be listed in the rules. If something is not specifically listed on here, that does NOT mean it is allowed! If you are ever unsure or would like clarification, please contact staff.
General Rules
  • No chargebacks of any payments are allowed, this will result in a permanent blacklist from the network.
  • No faking evidence of any player
  • No stalking/harassing any player
  • No leaking player's personal information
    • This includes false information; it will be treated the same way!
  • No using VPNs or proxies. This will result in your account becoming linked to other players’ accounts and may cause you to be punished for another player’s actions. Mobile hotspots are strongly discouraged.
  • No using NFA/SFA account generators. These accounts may already be punished and could get you blacklisted.
  • Account sharing is allowed, but at your own risk! We will not unban shared/secondhand accounts if banned or blacklisted.
  • Do not evade a ban or mute on any InvadedLands platform - this can lead to a blacklist.
    • Using an alt account to speak in chat while your other account is muted
    • Using /nick and /pay to communicate while muted
    • Renaming items and using /trade to communicate while muted
  • No IRL scamming involving real-life financial loss. Report IRL scams with evidence.
    • Always record your screen when performing IRL trades!
    • Note: Scamming in-game items/money for promises of ranks/keys/etc. is permitted.
  • Use common sense. When in doubt, ask a staff member before taking action.
Gameplay Rules
  • No hacking/cheating or using any disallowed clients ( Allowed Clients )
  • No "fake hacking" meaning you purposely try to look like a hacker; this will carry the same punishment as an actual hacker. (e.g. sitting at spawn spinning around towards players and attacking to make it look like you have kill aura)
  • No knowingly teaming with hackers
  • No using bots for any reason (e.g. spam bots, killing them to boost stats/money/kits or any other form of advantage or benefits from bots)
  • No unapproved/disallowed mods ( Link to allowed mods list )
  • No using any alt accounts to get daily items/gear/currency/voting or achievement rewards for you or any other account to use; this rule still applies to daily items on ranked alt accounts.
  • No glitch abusing/exploiting (e.g. duplicating items, escaping the map, eating whilst running, escaping combat tag, intentionally getting yourself banned, etc - no matter your intention)
    • If you discover a glitch, immediately report it to a staff member or create a Bug Report and do not share it with other players.
  • No abusing /report (e.g. purposefully false reporting another player to get the attention of staff)
  • No inappropriate usernames; you will be banned until you change your name. (applies to names that include swear words, racism, sexism, or any other inappropriate terms/phrases)
  • No inappropriate skins/capes (e.g. any skin/cape showing nudity)
  • No other programs to give you an unfair advantage (e.g. autoclickers, macros, unapproved mods, etc.)
  • Butterfly clicking may result in a punishment for autoclicking as they have some similarities that are difficult to distinguish. Butterfly clicking is at your own risk, but strongly discouraged since you are unlikely to be unbanned if you use this method.
  • No double-clicking (includes the action of adjusting mouse settings to double-click and setting multiple mice/trackpad or buttons to attack)
  • Drag, bolt & bawlclicking are strictly prohibited; you will be treated the same way as you would if you were blatantly cheating.
  • Just because a specific clicking method is not listed here does not mean it is allowed. Assume that any non-listed clicking methods (besides normal clicking) are not permitted.
Communication Rules
  • No DDoS/dox/swat threats or actions towards any player under any circumstances (This can also apply to other forms of communication outside of the network only at an administrator's discretion.)
  • No leaking (or pretending to leak) another player’s personal information
  • No form of threats towards any player for any reason
  • No mass messaging
  • No suicide encouragement, death wishes or death threats (includes phrases encouraging self-harm such as "slit your wrists")
  • No spamming, flooding chat or encouraging spam. This includes spamming in PMs and spamming commands like /pay, /is ban, /tpa, etc.
    • General rule of thumb of what qualifies as spam: 3 or more nearly identical messages within a single chat window or 10-15 seconds, or flooding chat with character/keyboard spam
  • No link spamming
    • You are permitted to send no more than 1 stream/video link every 5 minutes if the content is related to InvadedLands.
  • No intentionally advertising any other Minecraft or Discord server in any way on any platform (includes server IPs and invite links)
  • No level of toxicity is permitted when targeted towards staff, other players, or the server itself
    • Comments that contain insults, are aimed at inciting drama, etc. all fall under this, constructive criticism is welcome & can be delivered respectfully through the proper channels
  • No racism, bigotry, hate speech or any other discriminatory language
  • Do not intentionally bypass the chat filter to swear or use inappropriate language.
  • No creating fake messages (e.g using color chat to make a fake ban message or impersonate as staff, etc.)
  • No inappropriate or non InvadedLands links (e.g. link to screamers, pornography, or anything inappropriate)
  • No download links anywhere (in-game, Forums, Discord, etc.)
  • No solicitation or giveaways of items/things unrelated to InvadedLands (e.g. "Selling minecraft accounts cheap!" or "Giving away minecon capes, message me!")
  • No selling any in-game item or currency for real life currency or items outside of the InvadedLands network (Capes, cosmetics, non-Invaded ranks/perks, etc.).
  • No inappropriate messages in chat (e.g. talking about nudity, sex, blood/gore, etc.)
  • No inappropriate usage of /nick (e.g. inappropriate language, names, staff impersonation, etc.)
Forums Rules
  • No excessive profanity, and never in a toxic manner
  • No spamming the forums with pointless or irrelevant topics
  • No spamming ban appeals/staff applications
  • No troll applications, appeals or reports
  • No inappropriate profile banners
  • No necroposting (posting on old/inactive threads to bump them to the top)
  • No unnecessary posts about being punished on InvadedLands; if you believe you were unfairly punished, submit an appeal ( here) or reach out to a staff member for clarification.
  • No posts about appeals/reports being denied by staff
  • No reposting threads that have been locked or deleted by staff
  • No excessively boosting your own, or any other users’, reaction score
  • No abusing the forums report system (false reports, reports for invalid reasons, etc.)
  • No forums ban evading
  • Reminder: All communication rules listed above apply to the forums!
KitPvP Rules
SkyBlock Rules
  • No escaping the map
  • No bow boosting / using an ender pearl / block-glitching to get into spawn or a player warp safezone in order to escape combat.
  • No trolling/stalling in events (e.g. refusing to fight someone in Sumo or Brackets to delay the game, teaming with other players in Last Man Standing, etc.)
  • No boosting your/another player's stats (e.g. getting an alt/friend to kill over and over for extra kills or willingly allowing another player to kill you, claim bounties, etc.)
  • No player potion farming (e.g. combat logging or killing alts/other players to create player potion effects such as strength, regen 4, etc.)
  • No block glitching to combat tag or hit another player through walls (Please note that using a bow to hitbox players is allowed and does NOT fall under this rule!)
  • Do not put your alt in events when your main account is in the event as well.
  • No spawn shooting/killing (bowing or hitting players from within the spawn region)
  • No boosting duel stats (e.g. willingly allowing another player to kill you in duels to claim bounties, boost achievements, etc.)
  • No camping in duels
  • No inappropriate builds/signs in player warps
  • No glitch abuse of any kind
Survival Rules
  • Griefing methods of any kind are not permitted, except if done by the claim owner and/or a player who is trusted in that claim(s). Or does not damage the integrity of any nearby claims. (If you don’t know whether or not something can be considered griefing, use common sense or ask a staff member)
    • Note: You are responsible for which players you /trust in your claim, so griefing within your claim is not punishable.
  • No auto-farming (using programs such as a console client to automatically issue commands like /sell all, /tpaccept, etc.)
  • No x-raying or auto-mining for ores
  • No portal trapping (blocking portals so players can't move/chat or get out)
  • No TP trapping / killing (attempting to trap and/or kill a player when they teleport to you)
  • No lag machines
  • No inappropriate builds/signs
  • No inappropriate item names
  • No abuse of shop signs (Normally done to scam players out of more money than intended)
  • Don't unfairly abuse server resources. This may include, but is not limited to: overly computationally expensive spawner designs, not clearing items in an area properly, creating lag machines and/or bypassing server limitations. Those that do so unnecessarily use server resources exorbitantly more than other players will find their areas cleared.
