I highly doubt you were able to join while connected to a VPN considering InvadedLands has an anti-vpn and I joined while connected to a VPN by mistake and got instantly kicked rather than getting blacklisted.

Using a public alt account could be the reason for your punishment. The rules clearly state that you shouldn't use public alt accounts. Someone else probably got banned on the same alt that you used, and that's why you got blacklisted. I can't help you any further, just make a blacklist appeal...
