You just can't use it to show players. Turn off the minimap and only use waypoints then it should be an allowed mod.

Another reason alongside those listed above is that the in the graphical user interface is so simple and so easy to maneuver. Player versus player is much smoother than any other client. Also, you don't see everyone with wings and capes and a bunch of particles that get in your way while pvping...

Try Lunar Client, some PCs malfunction while running it, but mine has never had a problem. It does use up a bit of your CPU though, to fix this turn of the anti-cheat when you launch Lunar Client's launcher. It says a big red button saying anti-cheat. The only downside to this is that you can't...
