Could it be that they're screensharing? That uses quite a bit of bandwidth so they might just have more ping when they're streaming

You should work on adding a lot more detail in the sections about your skills and why you would be a good fit for staff. Make sure to add any proof you have of being the ranks you said you were, it makes it easier for the staff when they handle the application so they do not have to ask and...
