It's fun to build an economy with the players, show others your builds and the survival aspect is still 100% there. It's your choice how you want to play it. I've done normal survival and also just making a bunch of money to fund my builds. -

You could try doing something like me, I just start building stuff for fun. Y'know, the usual stuff people do on survival servers. Doesn't always need to be a competition or some struggle for money, just needs to be fun. -
