honestly I don't see Minecraft becoming an esport anytime soon, it's just not as intense enough for people to watch + the skill gap between players is kinda huge, I see it as more of a casual game than competitive..

You realize its way harder to hit a rod with 300ms in comparison to 30ms? You legit can't "time" your rods, spamming is the only option with higher ping (and that also, if against a good player, doesn't work) if you want to survive, whereas low pingers can either spam or just time their rods...

It wouldn't, try to fight zebi or swervah or even koeskoes with 300 ping, they'll obliterate you with rod crits.. on top of that you can't even bow away since they just keep rodding you

This would have been a great idea if it didn't affect high ping players too, which I don't think is possible..
