If you really want to know what armor a person is wearing, just go in kit pvp and crit them a bit, if they take like 2-3 damage a hit (1 being half as heart, 2 being 1 hear) they would most likely be wearing P1, if they would have P2, they would still average around 2hp a hit, p3 would be like...
