If your mouse doesn't double click and you don't click extremely fast you should be fine! I've used mine without issue (I would tell you my debounce time but opening the app bugs my mouse)

I believe you can get some colors from crates, but to the best of my knowledge no ranks have colored chat listed in their perks.

You can unlock the typewriter achievement and get green chat color! That one's generally not too hard and it's free.

To the best of my knowledge they haven't released a specific time that the reset will occur, however based on the past resets the server's past the time I'd usually reset by. As to start a big project, I'd consider waiting a bit to see if any news is announced, but it's up to you as it could be...
