I don't know why, but it seems to me that most of the staff on servers aren't really active in forums and things like that. It always seems like that to me on Discord, and I just don't know whether or not it is just me. I'm not saying that they should be active just wondering.

they are active in forums, they were on the discord server yesterday. so its probably just you

staff members are VERY active on the forums. they are either removing player reports are ban appeals. in game, they r usually vanished while modding and handling reports. you’d be surprised how much behind the scenes things are going on
 
The reason why the staff aren't on the discord a lot is that it isn't their main priority, their two main priorities are the forums and the Minecraft server, you'd actually be surprised how much effort they put into those two platforms. It's already hard enough to maintain 2 platforms. So that's why the discord doesn't have much moderation.

its hard for staff to be able to talk normally due to the main playerbase of the server being skeppy fans, they pretty much see them as like a direct link to skeppy which leads to a lot of spam

They are, but you got to remember that the staff has to deal with many appeals per day, and invaded isn't a small community and not all the staff has time to be on forums all the time. So saying that the staff arent active is not right.
