Do staff do a good job enforcing the rules on the forums?

The forums have become a free for all. Players are repeatedly breaking the forums rules and it does not seem like there are many staff members dealing with the community on the forums. In the Thread "Network Rules" it states "no spamming the forums with pointless topics" It seems like that is what most of the forums is. The forums are important in a Minecraft community. I think it is ridiculous that staff are not on the forums enforces the rules as they should be. Threads are spammed with pointless replies. This needs to be addressed and fixed it is turning into a joke. It is a community not a playground.

I will also go over the discord server if this gets a lot of feedback.
 
I would say that staff does sometimes come onto the forums to moderate but I also think that there is not enough moderation for the forums.

Yes, staff are around sometimes. I just think they need to be way more active.

Not true, u see many threads being locked and moved. The spam / off topic threads are usually put in the correct section, and if not, they are put into that category. As for the pointless replies, it mostly people post boosting / loosing track of what they are responding too and what the correct topic is. It sometimes can be hard not to start conversations in threads.

I disagree. You do not see many threads that are locked. At least not as many as I hope. When I mean pointless replies I am talking about players who just say things like "Skeppy is cool" "k" That sort of useless replies that cause flooding of the forums.
 
yeah true but staff have better things to do like banning people rather than banning someone for making a pointless thread

Each part of the community should be equally as important. If staff cannot take 5-10 minutes of their time looking through the forums to make sure it goes smoothly then they are failing. The staff position is supposed to help the community as a whole. Not just banning players in-game.

Alright, I get that, but what would you say is more important, banning someone that has leaked somebody's private info or forum muting somebody because replied to a thread with 'skeppy is cool' or 'k'?

Yes, it is important to ban players for that reason. I never said it isn't a priority. However, staff should be able to look through the forums once in a while as well as take care of other issues going on.

I don't feel like replying to a thread with something pointless such as 'k' brings any harm

If staff were keeping on top of the pointless reply's i don't think they would have the chance or the time to even log on invaded.

I completely agree with you but these mods aren't getting paid and most of them have school, i'm sure management probably tells them to focus on going through appeals before clearing pointless threads

You seem to disagree with everything. If you were here on the forums longer you do see threads being locked. Just because someone says "k" doesnt mean it is going to get locked. Also finding the time is hard for them as most are in highschool / collage / university.

I stated before a couple times that it was an example of spam not that it should be locked. Saying it is messy and wish it was not the case. Please refer back to the conversation I had with Zopetto before replying so I do not have to repeat myself. Thanks.
