The player cap is 175 and when i queue i see 30 to 50 people in queue. Invaded did it to kit pvp so why don't they do it to survival.

Kitpvp is the most played gamemode on the server, therefor it is more optimized for a higher player count (Ex: More ram than other invaded servers) They did improve the servers according to TehNeon but as survival is one HUGE world where all the players are unlike skyblock it would most likely be very laggy as the server probably doesn't have the capabilities for a bigger player count whilst keeping the lag as low as possibleThe player cap is 175 and when i queue i see 30 to 50 people in queue.
