First post, thought I'd post it anyway

I've joined to see if I can take part of one of the events since it seemed cool and all - nothing yet!
I saw there was a queue priority and I looked at the shop and it does not state anywhere that it does not count in Event Chats.
I've googled around and there are numerous forums saying how they thought it'd count for events and then it does not.

It is ok - Thought they were just being stupid
Until You look when your in the queue, after every single update or position it says that to get higher up into the queue you must buy the priority. This is confusing and will make people buy it for no reason.

I urge admins to remove it or tell people it doesn't work in Event queues
 
It is an important omission. Try DMing a staff member, like a mod or senior mod, to get the suggestion to higher staff, or submit it to the IL player council. You can solve this!
 
damn, this server already has a huge pay-to-win concept. But now that they are actually making those advantages not even work is horrendous. If people got a rank specifically just to get higher in an event queue and it DOESN’T work then there is a huge problem here. Has this always been the case? Or is there just so many people in the queue that it just doesn’t help at all. Don’t get me wrong, if this happened to me I wouldn’t really care to be honest because I’d be supporting the server. Tbh I would have supported the server a long time ago if money wasn’t so tight.

It works on KitPvP, Survival, or Skyblock queues depending on the server of the rank. It doesn't work on Events, but there's not a single mention to that.
 
why would a rank on one of the servers give you priority for event queue, a server that players shouldn’t even know is a thing?? and if they did it would just be overlords in his events which would make it 100% pay to get in his videos. you shouldn’t have to buy a rank to be in a skeppy video.

Apparently people think it does, and it should be mentioned. It's not, however, scamming if they don't add the mention.

Because all it says is like “buy vip and get a higher priority in the queue“ or something like that. If anyone is waiting for an event it immediately becomes appealing to them. Because they don’t specify which queues it works for. And people don’t like to wait 8 hours to get into an event to not be in a high enough queue spot to join.

but why would it work on a server that 1) isn’t even a gamemode 2) you can’t buy a rank for that server 3) a server players shouldn’t know about

Still doesn't make a lot of sense, since VIP is put in its category and not in global (that doesn't have ranks).

Why would you buy a kitpvp skyblock or a survival rank to gain the ability to join a different queue faster instead of there own respected rank you bought for that gamemode. They aren't pressuring you because you dont need to buy rank and everybody who gets in skeppy's events wait along time. The forums only stated they thought it was for events, but thats their fault. Just because some random said it is doesnt mean you should believe it because you're buying something for irl money
 
After taking a look at the store, I concluded that thinking that a rank bought in category Survival gets you farther in queue in Events is a somewhat dumb idea.

ranks only work for the server you bought it for
