mobs dont naturally spawn, but do if you place a spawner.

Natural mobs do not spawn on survival, You can only obtain them by a spawner.

This isn’t peaceful mode but mobs generally do not spawn. You can get mobs through eggs and spawners. Mobs will spawn after the daily reboot for a few minutes.
