For the number of people online, this game mode seems to be lacking in slots. Is this for resource management or something?
this could be why but i thought that the max number is lower cuz survival is the least played game and it costs invaded more money to increase max number of players.If you think about it it's perfectly logical why. The amount of land that has to be loaded in and the types of things you can do in survival is way more than what happens in kit an skyblock. There are way more entities and laggy stuff in survival than in kit. Skyblock has the advantage that a lot of the land is air, making it better for servers to host.
um, I disagree, I have a screenshot, and survival had 69 players in-queue (nice) while skyblock had 14 and kit had 18 or something like that. So upping survival slots by 25 would be good, too.I think all the servers are optimized to hold the max amount of people they can. No point in not having max slots even if it was less popular and rarely filled.

Not necessarily. They could temporarily compromise by lowering the server's render distance. There are many options, that they might be considering if they were to increase the count list.I think slots already went up and again more player == more lag.
