I’ve been in que for over 2 days, and have a spot in the the next event.

There isn't a set time for events they just happen whenever Skeppy or Zelkam feel like hosting one.

I believe Skeppy announces them on his discord, or at least he used to but I haven't gotten any notifications for events recently. Like wetplace said though, there is no set time. They do them whenever they have an idea and the time to do it. Also if you have a higher position in queue, it will take longer to actually get into an event since I am pretty sure they only take 100-200 people for an event at a time.

Lol it ended up being 5 but I didn’t hover, I was actually really lucky that it started when I was using my computer
