you don't use fortune if you want to keep a spawner, you would need a silk touch pickaxe and a rank.

I got the same thing, but I joined in 2019. If this person just started posting maybe they don't know this yet. Just let them know what they're doing wrong, and if they don't answer and keep on doing it then you can start calling him/her a minimod.
