DISCLAIMER: Ok Before I shit talk PvPLands I understand Kitpvp is under its beta stage right now and literally released with in 2 weeks of this thread being made, but I feel like it was rushed because the staff team is focusing on events. Also many of the bugs I report may be fixed by the time this is read. I am also excited for the future of the server!
I wanted to go over some opinions of mine that i think the community shares for PvP lands kitpvp.
(All you OG's who are mad at Skeppy for making this server here is more gas on the fire)
1.) One week in and its already PTW-it has been a week and a half of release and already we have people who spent 250 dollars for "Platinum" and have pv's full of the best armor in the map (p3)
2.)Critical jump attack meta-So this may be a little hard to comprehend, but if you know what im talking about you will understand.
Kitpvp currently has a what i would like to call "bug" to where jump criting does massive damage than a normal jump crit should do. For a easy example jump criting a naked can 1 tap them with the default Iron sword sharp 1 (PVP Sword)
3.) The map-you guys gotta be shitting me it looks like someone griefed 100x100 blocks around spawn. With all the threads I have seen on people waiting on builder applications to be accepted/denied for months it is very disappointing to see the build team/builder (can't assume because it may have been only a few kind souls) shove this map out.
4.) Latest version players playing kit pvp- I can't tell you how annoying it is when I am in a combo and the victim player clicks right click and a invisible shield( to 1.7.10 and 1.8 users) protects them from all frontal attacks. Just make it like invaded where they cant play kitpvp.
5.) The unpreparedness- OK so the with the launch of PvPlands many flocked to the server for a chance at 1000$, but many flocked to kitpvp as well. Only active player may know what i am talking about but around 1-3 days after released the "Staff Team"(Invaded Staff Mods/Sr.Mods)it was a blood bath of hackers those dark days.
5.) Queue- NO I am not talking about events I am talking about kitpvp. With one of the latest updates the server allowed you to be in queue for events and play kitpvp at the same time! Sounds good right? Well mostly the only bad thing is that kitpvp only has 100 slots and the queue for a default rank takes 30-60 mins!
6.)AntiCheat-Well to sum it up its horrible,and it may be close to invaded but the only differences is Invaded gets a lot more low ranking staff support. It is a rare sight to see 2+ staff on the server a day (Before you bash me yes I Know /v)
7.) Forums- Above all other complaints PLEASE I beg you please give us a forums so we don't have to report bugs/players/exploits on invadedlands.net and also get a community started up. It awesome that we have a Discord with 2 channels and a shop link, but we would like a forums please.
For those who don't know how bad it is we don't have perms to /report.
Conclusion: The server was rushed and not tested for alternative modes besides events.
