the thread clearly mentions "Only punish tp trappers reported by players with enough proof in the player report section", not "make staff go look for tp trappers"...how would they monitor the server for tp trappers?? just teleport to people randomly and see if they tp trap??
the way they said it made it seem like people were saying that mods should “monitor the server” when legit no one has said thatthe thread clearly mentions "Only punish tp trappers reported by players with enough proof in the player report section", not "make staff go look for tp trappers"...

"so this way mods don't have to monitor the server" there, is it clearer?so this way mods don’t have to monitor the server
in the original post, they made it seem like OTHER PEOPLE wanted mods to “monitor the server” which just isnt true"so this way mods don't have to monitor the server" there, is it clearer?
You clearly need to have the post paraphrased. Here:in the original post, they made it seem like OTHER PEOPLE wanted mods to “monitor the server” which just isnt true
except no one wanted mods to look for tp trappers in the first placeYou clearly need to have the post paraphrased. Here:
"I have a suggestion about TP trapping. How about, TP trapping is punishable, but only if the tp trapped player makes a player report on the forums providing enough proof? This way the mods only have to review player reports and not have to deal with looking for TP trappers."
That'd require to create a new group that removes the permission to TP, and set it to be removed after some time, which would be a bit of work for the dev.Maybe if someone tp traps, and someone reports them with video evidence, they would lose their ability to tp anyone to them for like a whole week or something.
I'm seriously wondering why you're shooting all these ideas down. Because they require a little work to make the server a slightly better place? You have to work to make something good, and so the staff shouldn't have to work a little to make the server better? That'd require to create a new group that removes the permission to TP, and set it to be removed after some time, which would be a bit of work for the dev.
I like the idea, I'm just trying to put myself in staff's place. Given the previous not implemented suggestions, also regarding this same thing, I don't think it'll get added. I agree that a staff member ought to work to make something good, but apparently there's some problem with that or the suggestion in general, because staff has already received such suggestions and apparently not implemented them. I'm trying to, for each suggestion, since they keep repeating themselves, understand why the staff isn't implementing the suggestion.I'm seriously wondering why you're shooting all these ideas down. Right, but with that new post to consider, it seems that you are defending their position of not adding- without understanding.I like the idea, I'm just trying to put myself in staff's place. I'll try to write the posts in a way that doesn't make the post look as if it's defending staff (unless I want it to). In some posts however, like making scamming bannable, I was somewhat defending staff, since having to deal with all the scams and scam reports and trying to see who did what would be a lot of work and would involve the three high staff to have to constantly check logs which would be a lot of work.Right, but with that new post to consider, it seems that you are defending their position of not adding- without understanding.
Okay, thanks for clearing that up.I'll try to write the posts in a way that doesn't make the post look as if it's defending staff (unless I want it to).
Sorry, I edited the post after, but that part is the sameOkay, thanks for clearing that up.
So? its their job lmfaoMore work for mods: checking more player reports
