*if you are an experienced player reading this will be a waste of your time, this is all basic stuff*

Hello. My name is gn4rly. You may have seen me around kit in the past few days, or know me if you played MC-Central, which I was very active on for several years. My past igns are NebKrik, HillarySmells, Skuw, and 5cythe. Anyways, I checked out invaded lands for the first time a few days ago, and have been playing it a lot since then, discovering that it is much better than MCC. In a few days, I have had relative success on the server, at the time of writing this guide I have amassed some sharp IVs, prot 3, prot4, and about 100k. Obviously this is nothing much compared to what a lot of active donors have but I thought it was decent for a new non-donator. I thought I would throw some advice and tips out there that will help other new players on invaded. Here it is, and feel free to shit on me in the comments if you disagree with anything I said.

General tips:
  1. Vote, vote, vote! Try and be on around the same time every day so you can vote every 24 hours. You will get valuable rewards to use in combat or to sell.
  2. Do your kits as often as possible. You can get 2 sets of p1 every day and 8m spds every 4 hours. You can also stack up gapples.
  3. Make friends with donators! They can help you in pvp and maybe if you ask nicely, they’ll help you out with some stuff. Make sure not to be an annoying beggar though.
  4. Events! Winning events can unlock valuable rewards out of the event crate, don’t be discouraged if you don’t win events right away, they’re more tricky.
  5. Typing challenge! A lot of people don’t bother doing this, but by winning the typing challenge you can get an easy $100 every 5 minutes.
  6. Drop parties. Often stacked players will quit or need space and have drop parties. Make sure you take full advantage of this, you can get really game changing gear.
  7. Challenges at player warps may also be able to make you some money.
Pvp tips: *for the more experienced PvPer, if you are not as experienced be more cautious with your diamond gear
  1. When you spawn into the server you will want to begin by PvPing in /kit pvp, which is p2 Iron and gapples. Try and pick off other low health irons, or look for diamond armor on the ground. If you find some, put it in your /pv 1 or go to spawn asap. You’ll want to save your diamond armor in your ender chest or /pv 1 until you are more experienced on the server.
  2. Once you have played for a day or so, you might be ready to PvP in better gear. I have found that the best setup for me to PvP in is prot 1 diamond with an extra set in my inventory, punch I or II, and sharp 3. You may also want a rod if you are proficient. Bring speed and regen pots. I also bring one gapple just in case. You can enchant sharp III from /warp shop and get punch I from /kit archer. Once you jump, try and find players in diamond who don’t know what they’re doing, and kill them. You can get a lot of prot1 pretty easily this way. Sharp III/ punch II might be a bit harder to find. Don’t target Irons unless they are low HP, they will pop your armor. However, target /kit archer because they will have 8m speed which is very handy.
  3. Farm diamonds and sell their gear. Rinse, repeat, get money.
  4. One more thing is that I would never pvp with s4 or s5 as a non-donator because you will get 3 or 4v1ed. Just save it or sell it.
  5. One thing I like to think about when PvPing is my return on investment. If I just spent 3k on a s3 and punch II, and I die without killing anyone, I’ve just lost 3k. However, if I kill someone with a s3 punch II, I’m now even on my investment, so if I die, I technically didn’t lose anything because I have more gear to fall back on. If I were to get multiple more s3s or other valuable items because I bought the s3 and punch II, I think of that as a positive investment.

Selling items. This is one of the main ways which you can profit on the server. If you are persistent you should be able to sell mostly anything given a decent amount of time. Try and buy items cheaply and sell them for higher, or just sell gear you get in Pvp. I posted a price guide recently which you can go check out if you are wondering what you should sell items for.

I might add more to this later if I think of anything else. Hope you enjoyed the read and maybe at least 1 person was able to benefit from these tips.

100% agree with all of these but 1 small tip if youre less skilled at pvp like me, saving up diamond kits in ur /pv and scavenging other diamond sets you find around spawn may be a safer bet then pvping in iron. Not to mention now that i started dropping with s3s and irons are 5 hits, i view any iron as "farming kills for diamonds". Dropping in iron should be a transition from having nothing to having a /pv half full to full of dia sets. Once ur pv is full of p1 sets i start replacing the p1 with p1u1 then p2, the s1s with s2s the punch 1s with punch 2s and so on. I pvp in the lowest/weakest set i have and build up.

To me, all pvp is me wasting time while my gaps are selling. The servers economy is what im here for, i buy stacks of gaps at 35-40k and resell them at 8.5k for 8 gaps (850 per gap). Chances are you've seen my annoying ass chat messages. My last gap "flip" was going from 160k and buying 4 stacks of gaps at 38k each and reselling them ten at a time to get a bal of 210k. Now im in the process of reselling the 6 stacks i bought with the 210k. (currently only sold one stack at more than normal and made 65k)

My point is, have an end goal. My end goal is to get around 350k to get someone to buy me VIP then move up the ranks the same way. If your end goal is to pvp or have fun, you really dont need to worry about your balance because your probably pretty good at pvp and itll grow with time. Keys are also useful to sell, event keys can be found at 6 pm est for 21k and sold at around 12 pm est for 31k. +10k/key and youll have 100k in no time. Have fun, make money and dont ever react badly in chat, if you get like 5v1ed by op ass ranked players for the s5 you just bought, dont give them hell in chat and end up changing your name to something stupid like FalseProphett, its really not worth it. Keep your head up and have a good time lmao.

Yeah I saw you on a few times like 3 days ago and your a perfect example of what a non donner can do on here. Make sure next season you start doing irl deals unless you wanna spend money.

To be honest, the only way to get a high KD is to donate or pick up some armor off the ground because you just can't face the diamond sin iron.

this is a very good guide, +1. the only thing to keep in mind if your a new player, is if you work your way up to getting s3 and punch 2. and you decide to pvp with it, and your not very good, chances are if a pro/ranked player /invsee's you and sees that you have s3 punch 2, chances are they will target you untill you die. so just keep that in mind and watch out for it, or just save your good stuff to prevent that from happening

ya watch out for rank players, but u dont have to worry about ChubbyDog or fofty! u see, when u attack them, they run up a mountain and camp there! so as long as u dont chase them, ur good!
