Ok, so, people have been making threads about how “toxic“ this place is and how “staff suck” and stuff like this. I’m going to be talking about “toxicity” posts today. The internet is toxic. If you don’t like that then don’t be on the internet. Not everywhere you go is going to be a friendly and nice environment. That’s just how life is. I feel like people don’t understand that not everyone here is toxic, they see the glass half empty instead of the glass half full. If you get upset about every “pce rand” or “2020 simp” then you are not going to get ANYWHERE irl. Life is toxic, and you just need to learn to not care what people say to you. Trust me, you have no idea how many nights I’ve spent crying because people said terrible things to me, wether at school, or on the internet. If you focus on these things all the time it will drain your happiness. If people wanna leave because of toxicity I’m not going to blame them, but just remember that everywhere you go there will be toxic people. Just, think about it.
thanks for reading loves <3

"The internet is a toxic place, get over it" is such a lazy argument and I'm tired of it - Communities can be moderated to prevent toxicity with good rules and quality and plenty staff. Where I believe invadedlands fails is in numbers, the staff team is really small in such a big server. Factors such as timezones, real life work & school activities, family, etc. decrease the activity of the staff, decreasing the moderation. So if you're gonna complain about the server being neglected yet you can't see this simple issue then you are not being productive. If you want to actually see the server improve apply for a position yourself. A simple (not very well written) thread complaining won't accomplish anything. That is what I'd say to the "toxicity" threads.

I guess, the internet is toxic, but we can easily reduce that.

My point was that even if more toxicity moderation gets done, everywhere you go will be somewhat toxic. I said that not just the internet is toxic but also the real world, the real world can’t be “moderated.” You can’t get upset over things like this because things won’t change, you can’t control what people say. Please read the whole post.

"This is how I'd respond to the toxicity threads." Wrote this so that you wouldn't think I'm against you.
I still stand by my point, I can list a million communities I know of that are moderated so well to prevent toxicity and to stay quality. A subreddit that shows this is reddit.com/r/geopolitics, a subreddit moderated to keep every single post and reply quality, relevant to the discussion and detailed.
Real life however is something else, I don't believe it's relevant to the whole discussion though.

I understand, but the grass is always greener on the other side. Other servers are always going to have things that this server doesn’t have.

You guys may disagree but I think people use the word toxicity way too often, especially here. Getting upset over words like random, clown, ez is laughable.
Subjective topic. You personally might not care but someone else might. People might not be using the word toxic correctly but the implication is clearly that people are unnecessarily rude.

unnecessarily rude
define it
so if someone is leaping out at us
we can't defend ourselves

unnecessarily rude
define it
"rude"
adjective
offensively impolite or ill-mannered.
"she had been rude to her boss" "ez" "clown" "random"
^This but unnecessary

I don't understand the rest of your reply, doesn't seem to be attacking anything I said and not worded well at all
