it seems like the administration wanted to start fresh, so they didn't port any old accounts over. i'm also down to start fresh too, i was kinda cringe on the old forums...but who wasn't? so yea this is not what my name was back on the old forums in case you're wondering.
i was pretty active in the 2016-2017 years, the BOOMER years, and somewhat active in 2018. i have a decent-ish memory of how things used to be so feel free to ask in this thread and i'll try to answer if i can.

18 y/o female, high school senior, going to johns hopkins u for biomedical engineering on premedical track with a minor in psychology. i played pokemon when i was a kid but i wasn't really a "gamer" until i played minecraft in like...2011. it was pretty weird to play it as a girl back then but almost every single boy was playing it and i was curious. i remember playing a lot of mcpvp, gotpvp (i loved grand theft minecart), and obviously mineplex/hypixel.
i got bored a year after mcpvp shut down and brawl (which acquired mcpvp) didn't seem to be doing anything with the old gamemodes, so i played other games like paladins (free version of overwatch), overwatch, cs:go, a lot of pokemon (peep my username). somewhere in there i played club penguin. mostly as a joke but i'm not gonna lie, it was actually pretty fun.
with the whole covid quarantine, minecraft has been the wave at my school (it's a thing now to get absolutely stoned and then play on realms lmao) and i've come back to some of the servers i used to play on, like invaded.
