The community's opinion is that 50% of people are false banned? Kinda feel like it's the small amount of people who are false banned OR banned fairly that make a lengthy thread ranting about everyone and everything, not the whole community. A minority with a big voice isn't a majority
 
50% of the people that i see most in game and on forums have told me theyve been false banned more than once.

I can’t make anyone believe me, which is extremely frustrating, but I genuinely don’t know what I did wrong. It happened just as a spleef event that I joined started so my theory is that it had something to do with the lag. If anyone has genuine, helpful advice on how I can prove my innocence, that would be greatly appreciated.

Forgot to mention that most false bans were probably due to lag as I’ve had so many friends get banned for lag. Forgot to mention it in that post. AGC is fairly reliable though because there aren’t many false bans on mmc.

Oohhhh, this makes sense. I guess I’ll try to explain this in another appeal, though I’m can’t play for a few weeks anyways. Thanks, I’ll see if I have any luck with this.

No, it depends. Were you banned for lag? They can always check the logs and lying wont improve your case.
 
Dear staff,
I got banned for cheating, but I didn't cheat! All I did was using a button on my mouse, which clicked three times in a row! But it is not cheating since I didn't install any mods or clients, so please unban me.

I was banned for cheating, though as I said, I don’t know how I would have been cheating. I’m really confused why I got banned, as I only got “cheating” with no specific cheat or hack mentioned. I use vanilla optifine with no hacks, cheats, autoclickers or anything like that. I’ve never had any issues before with anything and I’ve never had any offenses. I’m starting to get worried that I won’t get unbanned at this point.

Make a appeal, but I believe there's a limit of 3 so make 2 appeals saying you were false banned, and for the last one admit even if you didn't cheat, as you will be screwed (like me) if you try to get unbanned.

I still remain fairly skeptical about the false bans, there are way too many people going like "Hello, I don't know what I did, plz help, I am innocent, I lagged, I'm very bad at PvP, never had more than 27 KDR"

my kdr was never more than 1 or smt (I get your point tho)
 
Ok, so I’ve appealed not guilty a second time and it’s being reviewed. For anyone who is skeptical that I’m not just lying, the reason I’m so confused is because it happened out of nowhere. I got the ban with the message reading “cheating”. After I appealed, I only got “denied” with no information. I went into much more depth this time, so I hope I can get unbanned. For anyone curios, I joined a spleef event, and once the match started I got banned. I hope the staff can check the logs and see that I did actually join the event and that’s when I got banned. It would be much less believable if I were banned during combat, but I was banned as an event started. I’ll say how it goes when I get a response. Thanks to all the people who gave helpful responses!

If you've been denied once and appealed not guilty, your best bet is to appeal guilty to get the ban reduced. That's just my two cents.
 
If you plead not guilty, logs will always be checked.

Logs were checked for you, and it showed that you were cheating-- creating threads here will not do anything.

If your appeal was denied, you may create a new one.
