Why are so many people banned still active on the forums?

I see soooo many people that are very active on the forums, but are banned/blacklisted on the server. I understand that if you want your appeal accepted you need to be on forums, and many of these were false, but I really just want to know why you are so active in a community for a server you are banned from. Not that I have a problem with any of these people, many are very helpful and well known people on the forums. I just want to know your mindset.

from what im told, a lot of ppl who r blacklisted rlly like invaded so they go on the forums a lot while their appeals r processed

I personally go on to check my blacklist appeal etc and look for any new updates or threads that catch my eye for a couple minutes or so. Sometimes I'll forget to close the tab but that's about it ig

idk invadedlands was legit the only server Ive been playing for the past 4 months and I just miss it (got false banned a couple of days ago)

Cuz I got nothing else to do and there's 3 days left till my blacklist expires
