Multiple people have answered your question every single time you made this post.
Having temporary bans able to be appealed would be stupid for many reasons already explained.
Stop asking why it isn't a thing, especially since your threads about this topic have been locked twice.

im sure people care about you but it is extremely annoying pointless and irritating to see you make the same thread three times for no reason when ur question has been answered
Nobody ever said they didn't care about you, we are just answering your question that you've already asked twice and been answered to on two other threads that have both been locked.

I don't think you're processing how annoying it is to keep seeing the same person post the same thread over and over again even though you're just going to get the same answers. Some of us have notifications on and getting the same notification over and over is irritating.

And you've been told why that wouldn't work.
If someone is actually muted for 5 months then they obviously broke rules over and over or said something insanely bad and therefore deserve to be muted for such a long time.
It is super easy to not break the rules and if you decide to break them, then you deserve to be punished.
