When you check the logs the actual server ip you get redirected is 'def.skeppylovesflipflops.xyz'

Just wondering if it was just something random or if its based on some sort of inside joke.

I think it was an old/troll ip.

As BabyKrypto said, it's a troll ip that they made a long time ago. It can help some people connect though. It's an alternative ip.
