Well, I used to be horrible as well. Just keep playing and you will eventually get the hang of it. You can also watch videos which teaches you on how to block-hit, stryfe, etc. Keep in mind, some techniques such as butterfly-clicking is banable on some servers.

my strat is no need to get better just kill noobs or when u got better gear than ppl then kill the ppl with lower gear

better hit detection, fps, smoother gameplay
Some clients boost FPS so it makes pvp easier
