Sure. There is a sort of punishment. They are ignored by the community, or atleast majority of it.
I wish there was a small punishment for ingame scammers imo.

Its just that staff can't really find all of the people who are doing in-game scams and so its basically all or nothing and at this point they don't have the time and people to be able to find everybody so they just basically decided to not punish unless they scam IRL money.

To be fair. I believe there shouldn't be a punishment for scamming. Its your fault for believing in said player. Staff shouldn't have to deal with it because they can't really stop it. What could they even do? If they mute, it could be considered as abuse because they had no real reason to mute... couldn't kick or ban because again, that's considered as abuse. You just have to trust certain people and ignore the others.
Scammers are annoying tho
Yes, scammers truly are annoying, but you could prevent that by simply ignoring them with /ignore or just don’t fall for their tricks anyway. Some people even only trade with the people they trust in the most. So don’t be gullible and fall for their scams.
Thats a good idea.
But In fact they won't do it. every server wont do it too cuz its a heavy work and they just wanted to get scammed Although its breaking player's playing experience.
