Mouses with "double click."

Hello! Ok straight into the thing.
I bought a new mice and it have the "double click" button. What does it do?
It basically increases your CPS by x2. For example:
if you click 8cps, with this button your PC will register it as 16CPS.

So what is the question?
The question is, is that allowed? I'm pretty sure that counts as an "unfair advantage" but I'm not 100% sure. Please someone tell me. Ok thx bye <3

You can prevent double clicks by going into your mouse settings and change your debounce time to 4ms.

I know you can disable that button in drivers but I didn't know you can like literally kill it lol
