Not really, it’s not being truly honest to the user in an attempt to just squeeze every dollar out of the server. This may be a controversial choice here, but I’d much rather the price to be “full price” than fraudulently discounted in an attempt to get more sales and ultimately more money, because then at least the server is being fair, honest, and in my opinion increases it’s reputation.
Can you please explain why I need to “shut up”? I understand you wanting to give me constructive criticism, but please, go into more detail, for example, please explain if it was too offensive, hateful, toxic, etc. I hope you can clarify why I need to “shut up” so I don’t continue to make this mistake again.

The staff team, knowing this, and also knowing the majority of children don’t understand these “scams” (“discounts”) they’re advertising it as much as possible for them to find the page and thus the “discount” and ultimately spend money. They’re purposefully promoting it on the forums, whenever someone buys a rank, and probably even more so they discover this “discount” and because of said reason, they’ll most likely end up buying something on the store.

I would’ve @ ed mega if I did want his attention, and I’m doing this to get the communities opinion on whatever they agree with me or not. Thanks for the criticism, it really helped clear up some confusion.

It's just a marketing strategy nothing comes personal for you so no need to open a whole thread about this considering it's kinda pointless and will just cause more drama it seems like Alot of people like fourm drama lol.

It's not really a scam. Most companies do this not just invaded. It's become such a common practice that most people are aware of it.
Think of it like the movie theater scam, where they say "Want to upgrade to a large for only $1?"
That relates here because it looks like you're getting the best deal possible, even though it's really just the same price and it's just grabbing your attention. I don't believe it's a scam, just a marketing strategy that works.
