How to get potatoes...

I'm trying to get one of the challenges that needs potatoes but you can't buy them in the store and I've only ever seen them on the auction house for 30x more money than I have. Is there actually a reasonable way to get them?

You could also try asking in chat and trade it for something else u don't need.
