finally someone else who thinks the same. it’s dumb as shit to edate because first of all you don’t even KNOW THEM. Second, are you that lonely that you can’t find someone in real life? And last of all, just wtf no. Also for all these edating announcements on the forums just stop, no once cares about it just use twitter.
 
No edating is the only thing that makes me happy, hanging out with someone for so long and making so much memories together and loving each other, edating is all I have ?

In all seriousness, a friend of mine whom I am very close to has been in an online relationship for 4 years after they met on Overwatch. He has become extremely depressed because of this because all his friends and peers have relationships in real life and get to see each other daily, while he gets to call his girlfriend on ps4 party chat and play overwatch custom games. It is really sad to see him like this and he often talks to me about it, but he fears she is the only one who will give him a chance. This has given me a bad eye for edating, and I don't want other people to end up like him. Please think about this before dating someone who lives >100 miles away
