Ok, but why don't we have events in Skyblock?

Why doesn't skyblock have epic events like on kitPvP?
Is there an actual or reason?
Like the best thing Skyblock has to offer is /gb, and that's pretty much it (apart from the constant grinding and the community).
Plus there's no incentive for Pvp'ing considering there's no KDR or even money rewards...

skyblock players have more of an ability to host events due to the fact we have our own plots where we can host them. there’s no reason to add events when people host them by themselves. and it’s skyblock, not kitpvp so i don’t really understand why you would want money rewards or something for pvp.

Skyblock players can host their own events, also KitPVP just makes more sense to have events. Kitpvp players pvp and they can't host their own events. And also more sb players just grind all day and probably could care less about events. Also what's the point of winning money. Literally people just grind their spawners and do /sellall and make so much money. I think this wouldn't be a good idea. Also sb is mostly for grinding not pvp. So I'm sorry but imo this isn't a very good idea. I'm going to have to do a -1

as Casey said, people host events in their own plot. and kit pvp is kind of unique in invaded cuz it has events. I don't think they will change it

Doesn't have to be money, but that could be one of the rewards. Also, a lot of people would enter for fun, not rewards.
