so when everybody was quitting, i realized that some people decided to say they're quitting and not get on for 1-2 weeks, then decide to get back on.

its for the basic idea of staying with the trend or staying relevent, here are some prime examples:
meeksxd; said he was quitting yet he just bought god rank
metalheqd; was on last week or two weeks ago and tried to get me to pay him 50k for a team bruh

those are just some people that have came crawling back.
