If it's just a visual glitch, why does it even matter? It's not affecting game play at all. Just place some blocks to update the water. Also, the server RECCOMENDS you play 1.12.2, so it's not their fault that issues arise with lower versions. There is no reason to tag the entire upper staff team for something as mundane as a water visual glitch.
