i see waht you mean, im sry for making this thread before knowing the full story. I believe that u did not use xray but I still think that the dragon egg shouldnt be spawned unless they re-locate the end portals and refresh the end.
its okay, it shouldn't be that much of a big deal but it is because of the Monetary Value associated with it and the reset, I'm frustrated at myself because i didn't think about taking coords or setting home, truth be told I've never been to the end before, so I didn't know I couldn't go back to the portal, just frustrates me when other people try and question me (and that's totally understandable tho), that's why I wanted to defend myself. also it'll be found for sure again, most likely when epearls are abled, but unless the end is reset, I don't really see the use, a bunch of people have claims in The End, so they can just easily tp or /home.
I'm thinking
A. Someone xrayed, got to the end, ate dragon, then got banned or left with egg in inventory/vault, or B. Someone like zlkn or another big team found it, respawned dergon, and are now hiding the egg and possibly laughing at all the drama caused by the egg "not spawning". I personally think the egg should be removed or available after respawns, and whoever gets to the end first has them and or their group receive a speacil tag or rank. Also yeah i'm hoping staff has plans for an end reset or smth because wow it's useless

Although staff removing it to get rid of the money involved in it makes sense, still doesnt really make sense why eoe were disabled if theirs no reason to go to the end other than dragons breath, aka the most useless item for its difficulty to obtain, not like enchantment table glitch for uncraftable arrows works.
There's just one end portal, right? cause the one I went to only had 1 pearl in it, it wasn't filled, so if another group did get there first they would have had to go back and take out the eyes of ender, but I don't think so because the chests in the stronghold weren't looted. so it seemed untouched

there should be 128, as there are 128 in 1.9+, and the recommended version is 1.12.

I don't think anyone was xraying in AVML's situation, however, if the egg was taken and respawned, im assuming there was an xrayer ivolved in that. Randomly mining to a stronghold can happen, but I don't think anyone legit without eoe could get a stronghold, kill dragon, respawn dragon, and also keep all of this hidden in a shorter time than AVML's kill, its a glitch, a staff decision, or some very shady work from somebody who doesnt want to reveal themselves. Like I said before, I feel like the first to kill the dragon should get something speacil, yes, but not something that has easy monetary value, hence why I suggested a tag or a rank
