Hello i have a question about being a staff member

So lets say a staff member has retired and decided to either stop being a mod do they go back to there previous rank to before there where a mod or do they get a thank you and get a free rank on every server i need answers or like say you where demoted do you still get a thank you of being a invaded staff member and get a free rank or do u go back to ur previous rank if a staff member could answer this question thanks.

pretty sure apex got top rank on every server as a ty, i could be wrong but im pretty sure im not.
