Hey whats the color of the sky?

Earlier today the sky was orange?????? All those years of school saying that the sky is blue and I look outside and its orange.

Not sure where you live, but orange skies can often be cause by hail/ice in the clouds that refracts sunlight making it a darker shade of yellow/orange rather than normal white light. This normally happens on overcast/rainy days before storms

If you live in the California area it is probably because of smoke from wildfires though.

Orange-Yellow skies mostly occur when the sun is higher in the sky , thus light has to travel a shorter distance therfore showing only 2/7 colors of the color spectrum
