I'm looking forward to play Among Us because many of my friends have reccommended it and I don't know what it's about, somebody please give me a quick summary.
 
Summary: it takes 10 years to get into an online game and you get disconnected often. ? It's quite a fun game.

You have to complete tasks as a crew member and not get killed by the impostor. If you're the impostor, you must kill the crew members and not get caught.
 
there are 10 crewmates in a ship thing but 1 or 2 of them are impostors which needs to kill 1 by 1 every crewmate. if someone finds a dead crewmate body they can report it and discuss who they think the impostor is
 
You roleplay as teletubbies with up to 8 new colors with up to 9 other friends as the sun smiles on you as one, two, or three of you go around killing your fellow teletubbies.
 
Among Us is a murder mystery type game with 5-10 players (public or private rooms), 1-3 Imposters, and 3 different maps! The goal of the crew is to complete tasks, fix sabotages, report dead bodys, call emergency meetings, and eject the Imposter. The goal of the imposter, however, is to kill every crewmate, keep them and their fellow imposters from getting caught, sabotage by shutting doors to trap the crew, and turn off vital functions of the map to kill the crew. After a dead body is reported or an emergency is called, you enter Discussion, where everyone talks to figure out the imposter, check in with crewmates, and vote who to eject (or not eject at all). It's free on Android and IOS, and 5 usd on Steam!

steam somehow made money off of it when its free on android and ios
why would you actually spend money when you can get it for free
