hea offering extra benefits which could be him paying the certain content creator to post videos? do you not understand that holy shit
So, here's my problem with the new Media rank;
1. The requirements. - Invaded isn't that big of a server anymore, it reaches a bare maximum of around 350ish players, and even back when it reached 2000 the majority of the players weren't legitimate, but rather AFKers. a 10,000 subscribers requirement is absolutely outrageous for this reason in my opinion, and seeing the majority of the players on Invaded, I don't believe there is someone who reaches the requirements and plays on a daily basis.
2. Content. - InvadedLands doesn't offer something very special, that YouTubers (especially big ones) can make interesting content out of, considering the not so recent lack of updates. Not to mention that the only content I do manage to find is either a nice let's play type of series, or PvP montages, who let's face it, don't have a big spot on the YouTube platform and aren't usually a good method of gaining/keeping subscriber counts. This also leads to the point of constant uploads, who in my opinion would just get plain and even boring to a viewer's perspective.
3. Benefits. - Even if there is some type of monetary reward, as some say, I don't find a large server such as InvadedLands having to pay creators to keep it alive a positive outcome of such a rank. I feel like there are a lot of smaller creators playing on the server, who'd much rather have the ability to represent their favorite server and have a little more recognition and attraction, rather than the monetary reward as mentioned earlier.
I don't believe Invaded is taking the right step towards the Media rank, and even though I don't play or come here very often anymore, I really do wish they realize their mistakes I mentioned earlier.

for instance if you had a kitpvp server that reached around 2k players concurrent and then died down loads, would you like to bring your subs to a toxic environment? keep in mind his subs are under 15 or so.

the point of media rank is to get more ppl to play here while the server gives more viewers. and these requirements are awful, its a dying server that wants you to have 10k subs to get media rank, if you wanna beg dont be a chooser, i get that youtubers with 10k subs gets you more ppl to play, but if you let in 1k yt's there will be about 10 atleast that get media rank which is literally the equivalent. i dont thik it should be at 1k tho, maybe atleast 3-5k since if it is 1k media rank will be given to everyone basically

do they really expect people with 10k subs and a brain to play on this server?So you're saying Hypixel has like 150x the players as Invadedlands but only 3x the requirement for YouTuber.
I'm trying to think of interesting ideas for a video for someone with 10k+ subs... wait Invadedlands has 0 updates at the moment kinda difficult.
If you're tryna get 10k+ YouTubers, you better be paying them at this point
Literally the owner of the server has almost 4 million subs and he doesn't even wanna do a video on the server

I don't think there's any big YouTubers that would actually be good at pvp to make montages, other than like the prac warriors.
There has to be big updates to give 10k+ youtubers something entertaining to make out of Invaded
but for real who the **** would take invadedlands over hypixel? if i had 10k subs, i would start grinding my ass off on hypixel. i agree with every single thing listed on this thread.
